Our story

An Australian standard for moving in Dubai.

CR Movers was founded to bring strict procedures and white glove relocation service to a market that needed both.

How it started

Matt saw an industry that could be done properly.

Matt came to Dubai from Australia with years in removals behind him. What he found surprised him: a moving and relocation market where standards varied widely from one company to the next, and where too often nobody had written down how a job should be done.

Customers were handing everything they owned to crews they knew nothing about. Cartons were reused from house to house. Blankets went from one job to the next unwashed. There was rarely a written procedure, and rarely anyone accountable when things went wrong.

So he decided to enter the Dubai market and do it differently. He set up the right procedures and a strict operating policy first, and built the company around them, so that the outcome meets what our clients expect every time, not only on a good day.

“A stranger is handling everything you own. You should know exactly who they are and exactly how they work.”Matt, founder

The result is an exceptional, luxury white glove relocation service: careful people, clean equipment and a process you can see. That is the standard CR Movers was built on, for local moves across the UAE and international moves around the world.

How we work

Four habits behind every move.

The white glove standard is not a mood. It is four things we do the same way, every time.

  1. Plan first

Every move starts with a survey and a written plan. Speed on the day comes from decisions made the week before.

  2. Care in the details

The right carton for the item, the right wrap for the finish, the right number of people for the lift.

  3. Say what we will do

Fixed quotes, a named coordinator and honest timings, including when something changes.

  4. Leave it finished

Furniture built, cartons gone, floors clean. A move is done when the home works.
